Cobogó Mundaú
Ceramic surface
Cobogó Mundaú is a covering made of Sururu shell (62.5%), a mollusk from the state of Alagoas, Brazil. The surface improves the ventilation and luminosity of buildings. The product emerged as a sustainable solution for the reuse of the Sururu shells, which were generating more than 300 tons of waste per month, causing pollution and bad odors. The product is notable for how it reduces environmental impact, establishes co-creation with the community, and promotes the circular economy.
