The Acer Halo Swing is a portable speaker that works with Google Home to control smart home devices. It features an LED pixel display that can show information such as the time or the weather, as well as notifications of incoming messages. For good readability, the display contrast is automatically adjusted. The device rests on a transparent charging station whose glossy surface reflects the RGB lighting on the bottom of the speaker. “The Acer Halo Swing surprises with its unusual features, in particular its display, which provides the user with visual information,” said the jury.
