PHC re-design

The Public Health Centers Re-design(PHCRd) project was first implemented and demonstrated at two public health centers. By employing service design studies and forming and bringing in an interdisciplinary design team, the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI) used design thinking and invited stakeholders to join the co-creation process to improve the service process and flow, providing clear and systematic guidance and modular design. The goal of PHCRd is to “create consistent public health service venues that give people a sense of safety and professionalism.” PHCRd also proposed a guidebook that can be duplicated at other public health centers needing optimization in Taiwan.
