The Cumulus Neuroscience EEG headset was designed for home use. The main challenge in the development process was to come up with a universal design that could be worn comfortably by a wide range of the population and would guarantee the correct positioning of the electrodes. This problem was solved by means of an adjustment system that is integrated into the shell and can accommodate almost all head sizes and shapes. The fabric and foams provide the headset with both elasticity and dimensional stability. The jury praised the design’s “pleasant aesthetics, which create a clear reference to its use in living spaces while discreetly concealing the technology”.
