The Minimalist Mahjong Machine is a piece of hobby furniture designed for mah-jong players. The game table is striking due to its extremely minimalist design. The purist impression is further enhanced by the choice of aluminium as the main material for the body. The square tabletop features a large recess that forms the playing surface and ensures that the pieces do not fall off, as well as a concealed integrated compartment for the pieces. When not in use, a cover creates a flat surface so that the table can also be used for other purposes. The jury appreciated the consistent minimalism that characterises the timeless aesthetics of this piece of furniture.
