Agricultural robot
FARO is a robot for harvesting cherry tomatoes in large horticulture facilities. It moves automatically along rails and uses a camera and sensor to detect the ripeness of tomatoes ready for harvest. It performs a series of tasks, including cutting off tomato bunches and storing them in a box. It can also work overnight, so it saves labor, solves personnel shortages, and contributes to a better harvest.
