An office worker ABW support project.
A mobile power source allows workers to freely select optimal working spaces from those available in an office. Desks often have built-in power sources, but cafe tables, sofas, and other spaces often don't, making it necessary to use a floor-based OA tap, which can be both difficult to use and dirty. This project aims to provide easier to use, cleaner power sources where workers want to use them. After studying what positions and shapes would make plugging and unplugging easier, we chose horizontal outlets instead of conventional vertical outlets, as well as a simple design that can fit any interior.
