Residential interior

This project, located in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, was originally a warehouse belonging to a small construction company. The main difficulties encountered in converting this to a residential space were the compartmentalization of the interior, the existence of small attics and stairs, and the lack of natural light. The fully covered courtyard at the end of the premises enhanced the possibilities of the project. The designers' main objective was to create a home in which light is the main element and in which the backyard is incorporated into the interior, opening up a small oasis of vegetation in the heart of the city.
