The concept ‘New York City grows fast, we grow differently’ is ba-sed on the research of Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s history, geographic location and its relationship with New York City. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a representation of New York City on a smaller scale. However, these organic green New Yorkers have their own ways of growing. They grow together with the city, but they grow differently.

The visual design system shows the forms representing both the city and nature. The visual elements with similar forms represent the contrast between the busy, overwhelming city and the energy of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The colourful, organic shapes and the motion design depicting an unusual movement for each plant convey the idea that no matter how fast the city grows, these plants that are part of this oversaturated environment will still find their own ways to adapt and shine.

“纽约发展迅速，我们发展独特”的概念是基于对布鲁克林植物园的历史、地理位置，以及它与纽约关系的研究。布鲁克林植物园是纽约的缩影。然而，这些有机绿色的纽约人有他们自己的成长方式。他们与城市共同成长，但成长方式不同。
